ABSA joins the Friends Club of Maputo National Park

The memorandum of understanding formalizing ABSA’s membership of the Club of Friends of Maputo National Park (MNAP) was signed between the Park Warden of MNAP, Miguel Gonçalves, and the Administrator of ABSA, Luís Pedro Carvalho.

By joining the Friends Club of the PNAM, ABSA is joining forces with the MNAP to develop actions linked to conservation, sustainable tourism and community development, in particular the promotion of harmonious coexistence between communities and wildlife.

The Friend Clubs of Maputo National Park (MUNGANO) is an initiative of MNAP in partnership with the Peace Parks Foundation and the German Embassy in Maputo through German Cooperation, through which individual and institutional members develop synergies in benefit of ecosystem conservation and community development.
